So you’ve purchased your impressive and life changing new Sasaki massage chair, but where do you put it? Well, hopefully this is something you thought about before buying your massage chair. Whether or not you have the required space for a massage chair in your home should be a key consideration when making this big purchase. However, if you were so impressed by our chairs that the practical consideration of space slipped your mind – it’s easily done and you can always shift a few things and have a clear out to make space.

Have a good think about which room you’d like your massage chair to be in – a space in your house where you like to wind down and relax is a common choice. Perhaps even have a clear out to make plenty of room for your new massage chair. If this is not an option, you can always put your chair where it fits but work on making the space around it clutter free and relaxing.

Massage chairs can be big and bulky, which is why they often wind up being placed in the bedroom, home office or garage. Although you may think it would look great in your living room, other people in your household may feel differently. Discuss it with others who share the space to be sure it works for them, too. If the only place you can agree on is in the corner of the bedroom, garage or in your home office, you'll want to really consider whether you will use it there.

With Sasaki’s great range of massage chair styles, colours and chair skins, you’ll hopefully find something that fits well with your home décor and the tastes of those you live with quite easily.

If you'd like a massage chair that reclines, you may not be able to position the back of the massage chair too close to a wall. It’s ideal to measure the space you have in mind before selecting your chair. Our friendly sales team will be able to tell you how much room you need for your massage chair to recline all the way, and whether the particular model you're interested in will work in your home and chosen space. Some of our chairs have a 'zero space' slide feature which means they only need to be 4 inches from the back wall to fully recline. We call it the ‘wall hugger’ and our 8, 9 and 10 Series chairs have this feature.

Once you’ve purchased your chair, we’ll deliver it to your door and help set it up in your chosen space.

Most of our massage chairs have wheels at the rear, so your chair can be moved from room to room or out of sight. This makes them ideal for people who don't mind a massage chair in their living room, but want to be able to move it out of the way when guests arrive.

If you just don't have the space, you may want to consider our range of handheld massagers. Although not as feature-rich as a massage chair, you can still enjoy the benefits of specific massage features while working around your home space limitations. Many of these can also be used while travelling which is a bonus!
